1/4 cup soy sauce
1 green onion, chopped
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 beef tenderloin roast (3 pounds)
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted

Steps:

  • In a shallow dish, combine the first 5 ingredients. Add tenderloin and turn to coat. Cover; refrigerate for 2 hours, turning several times. , Drain and discard marinade. Brush the beef with honey; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place in a shallow roasting pan. Bake at 400° for 25 minutes. Cover with foil. 1 1/2-2 lbs beef tenderloin fillets (whole)
1/2 cup soya sauce, dark
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
2 teaspoons Thai red curry paste
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 cup honey, liquid (or to taste)
2 tablespoons sesame oil (may sub with peanut oil)
1/4 teaspoon coarse sea salt

Steps:

  • Using a sharp knife, cut into the tenderloin fillet 2/3 of the way thru, make five cuts for 5 equal serving portions.
  • Put meat into a shallow glass dish.
