Cheesy Chicken and Bow Tie Pasta...a simple, totally yummy weeknight dinner! Everybody needs some comfort food now and again, and this pasta dish is just that. This chicken and pasta recipe is such a quick and easy meal!

Number Of Ingredients 13

8 oz bow tie pasta
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/4 cup chicken stock, plus 2/3 cup reserved
1 Tbsp butter
1 small onion, diced
2 small celery ribs, diced
1 tsp minced garlic
4 cups cubed cooked chicken (or 1 Rotisserie chicken, meat shredded)
8 oz diced Velveeta
1 (10.75 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
parsley for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven bring 2 quarts water and 2 chicken bouillon cubes to a boil. Once boiling, cook pasta according to package directions.
  • While water is boiling heat 1/4 cup chicken stock and 1 Tablespoon butter in deep sided skillet. Add in diced onion and celery and cook until soft. Add in minced garlic and cook another 2 minutes. Liquid will be evaporated at this point. Next add in chicken, Velveeta, Cream of Chicken soup, heavy cream and remaining 2/3 chicken stock. Cook until cheese has melted, stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste.
  • When pasta is done cooking, drain and add back to the pot. Pour cheese and chicken sauce over pasta and stir to combine.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.

2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1-1/2 cups whole milk
1-1/2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1-1/3 cups grated Romano cheese
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, drain tomatoes, reserving 1-1/4 cups juice; set aside., In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until smooth; gradually add milk and reserved tomato juice. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. 1 (12 ounce) package farfalle (bow tie) pasta
1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
1 head broccoli, cut into florets
1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and pepper to taste
2 (8 ounce) containers chive and onion cream cheese
¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Place chicken in a saucepan, and add water to cover. Boil 20 minutes. Allow to cool, then pull meat into shreds.
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (5 ounces each)
2 bacon strips, diced
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 green onion, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup uncooked bow tie pasta
1 tablespoon butter
4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup half-and-half cream
2 tablespoons chicken broth
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons shredded Asiago cheese, divided
1-1/2 teaspoons cream cheese, softened
1 plum tomato, seeded and diced

Steps:

  • Rub pepper and cayenne over chicken. Broil 4-6 in. from the heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until juices run clear.
