Tips:

  • Use unsalted butter and bring it to room temperature before baking. This will help the butter cream together with the sugar more easily, resulting in a lighter, fluffier cake.
  • Measure your flour correctly. The best way to do this is to use a kitchen scale. If you don't have a kitchen scale, be sure to spoon the flour into your measuring cup and level it off with a knife.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will result in a tough, dense cake. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cake in a preheated oven. This will help the cake rise evenly.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it. This will help the frosting set properly.

Conclusion:

Cardamom crumb cake is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert. It's perfect for any occasion, from a casual get-together to a special celebration. With its tender crumb, sweet and tangy filling, and crunchy topping, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
