- Return the skillet to medium heat and add the honey, soy, remaining 2 tablespoons butter and half of the lime zest and juice. Cook, stirring, until the butter melts and starts to bubble. Cook for a minute until the sauce thickens a little. Add the salmon and spoon over the sauce. Cook for another minute, basting as you go. Sprinkle generously with the cilantro.

Tips for Making the Best Baked Salmon with Cilantro and Lime
- Choose the freshest salmon fillet you can find. Look for a fillet that is firm and bright pink in color. Avoid fillets that are slimy or have a strong fishy smell.
- Season the salmon liberally with salt and pepper. This will help to enhance the natural flavor of the fish.
- Don't overcrowd the baking dish. If you are baking multiple fillets, make sure to leave some space between them so that they cook evenly.
- Bake the salmon at a high temperature. This will help to create a crispy crust on the outside of the fish while keeping the inside moist and flaky.
- Garnish the salmon with fresh cilantro and lime before serving. This will add a bright, citrusy flavor to the dish.
Conclusion
Baked salmon with cilantro and lime is a healthy and flavorful dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own taste preferences. Whether you are a seasoned cook or a beginner, this recipe is sure to impress. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal, give baked salmon with cilantro and lime a try.
