Time 35m

Yield 12-14 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 lb Velveeta Mexican cheese, cubed
4 skinless chicken breasts, cubed

Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all your ingredients and utensils ready. This will help you save time and prevent scrambling during the cooking process.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: Whenever possible, use fresh ingredients for the best flavor and texture. Fresh vegetables, herbs, and spices will make a big difference in the overall taste of the dish.
  • Cook the Velveeta Sauce Properly: The Velveeta sauce is the key to this dish, so make sure you cook it correctly. Cook the sauce over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese is melted and smooth. Avoid overcooking the sauce, as this can make it thick and rubbery.
  • Don't Overcrowd the Skillet: When adding the chicken and vegetables to the skillet, make sure you don't overcrowd it. Overcrowding can prevent the ingredients from cooking evenly and can also make the dish soggy. If necessary, cook the ingredients in batches.
  • Season to Taste: Once the dish is cooked, taste it and adjust the seasonings as needed. Add more salt, pepper, or other spices to your liking.

Conclusion:

This Velveeta cheesy chicken rice skillet is a quick and easy meal that is perfect for busy weeknights. It is also a great way to use up leftover chicken. The creamy Velveeta sauce and tender chicken and vegetables make this dish a hit with both kids and adults. With its simple ingredients and straightforward instructions, this recipe is a great option for beginner cooks or those who are short on time.
