STRAWBERRIES WITH COINTREAU
This one takes a couple hours because the strawberries have to soak up the cointreau, so allow enough time for that. If you don't want to whip your own whipped cream just use it from a can! This is from The Vancouver Sun Newspaper, 1996.

Arrange enough ladyfingers over strawberry mixture to cover bottom of dish. Spoon 3/4 cup preserve mixture over ladyfingers, then spread 2 1/2 cups mascarpone mixture over. Arrange 2 cups sliced strawberries over mascarpone mixture. Repeat layering with remaining lady fingers, preserve mixture, and mascarpone mixture. Cover with plastic and chill at least 8 hours or overnight.

Tips:
- Choose ripe and flavorful strawberries: The quality of your strawberries will greatly impact the final dish, so be sure to select berries that are ripe, sweet, and juicy.
- Use a good quality Cointreau: Cointreau is a type of orange liqueur that adds a unique flavor to the dish. Be sure to use a good quality Cointreau, as this will make a big difference in the final flavor.
- Don't overcook the strawberries: Strawberries should be cooked until they are just softened, but not mushy. Overcooked strawberries will lose their flavor and texture.
- Serve the strawberries warm or cold: Strawberries in Cointreau can be served warm or cold, depending on your preference. If you are serving them warm, be sure to let them cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with fresh mint: Fresh mint adds a refreshing flavor to the dish and makes it look more appealing.
