I adapted this recipe from one I saw on TV and my husband loved it! I like to serve this spread on oven-toasted Tuscan pane bread, first spread with a thin layer of cream or goat cheese, as a light lunch. Enjoy!

Tips:
- For the best flavor, use fresh asparagus. If fresh asparagus is unavailable, you can use frozen asparagus, but be sure to thaw it completely before using.
- To get the most out of the asparagus, roast it in the oven before adding it to the spread. Roasting intensifies the flavor of the asparagus and gives it a slightly smoky flavor.
- Use a good quality Parmesan cheese. The better the cheese, the better the spread will be.
- If you don't have any mayonnaise, you can use sour cream or Greek yogurt instead.
- To make the spread ahead of time, simply prepare it as directed and then store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Conclusion:
This asparagus spread is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed in many different ways. It's perfect for spreading on sandwiches or crackers, or it can be used as a dip for vegetables or chips. It's also a great addition to a cheeseboard or charcuterie platter. No matter how you choose to enjoy it, this asparagus spread is sure to be a hit!
