Tasty Open Faced Naan Sandwich image

Not your Average Naan, I hope that you will enjoy this tasty, messy treat. Eat it like a taco. If you prefer you could use a large naan bread and place all the ingredients on it. 2 mini naan, frozen
1 1/2 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp dijon mustard, coarse
2 slices, black forest ham
1/8 c shredded mozzarella
1/8 c baby spinach leaves
2 thin slices sweet white onion
4 thin slices cucumber
2 thin slices tomato
1/2 a ripe, peeled and pitted avocado, thinly sliced
salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 tsp white sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400. Place naan bread in oven and bake for 2 minutes.
  • 2. In a small bowl, add the mayonnaise and dijon mustard, mix well. Spread a tbsp of mayonnaise mixture onto bottom of naan bread.
  • 3. Add the ham slice, shredded mozzarella, spinach leaves, onion, cucumber, tomato and avocado slices. Season with salt and pepper (to taste). In a small bowl, add the mayonnaise, lemon juice and sugar, mix well. Drizzle the lemon mayonnaise over top of the sandwich and enjoy!
