Southern Italian Meatballs image

This recipe was my Grandmother's - a sweet little lady from Bari Italy. The only thing I changed was the type of bread. Since the crust was removed from the Italian loaf, I use white bread.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my meatballs didn't turn out as good as I expected. I think I might have overcooked them.

These meatballs were a bit too salty for my taste, but they were still very good. I would make them again, but I would use less salt next time.

These meatballs were a disaster! They fell apart when I tried to cook them, and the sauce was too runny.

These meatballs were a bit too spicy for my taste, but they were still very good. I would make them again, but I would use less chili pepper next time.
