I'm not sure where I got this many years ago. It's a standard in our house. You can use fresh mushrooms if you prefer. The sour cream really makes the gravy special. I serve this over cooked noodles, or boiled potatoes.

This recipe was a disaster! The beef was tough and the sauce was watery. I followed the recipe exactly, but something must have gone wrong.

This recipe was a bit too bland for my taste. I think it could have used more spices and herbs. The beef was tender and the sauce was flavorful, but it just needed a little something extra.

This recipe was a bit too spicy for my taste, but I think that's just because I'm not used to Hungarian food. The beef was tender and the sauce was flavorful, but the spiciness was a bit overwhelming for me.
