A simple version of Chilies Rellenos. I think this is from El Zorro, but not sure.

Number Of Ingredients 7
Steps:
- 1. Split each chili lengthwise into 2 piece. Reserve 2 pieces. Lay half the chilies (6 pieces) flat in bottom of greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish, top with half the cheese. Repeat with a second layer.
- 2. Mix eggs, milk, ground cumin, salt and pepper and pour over casserole. Chop tomato and reserved chili and sprinkle on casserole.Bake uncovered in oven at 350 for 40 minutes. Fresh fruit goes nicely with this dish.
