Can't Leave Alone Bars image

This tasty and easy to make bar has been in my recipe box for many years. When I was working, I used all kinds of short cuts (cake mix) to make something that would be tasty and look like it took some time to make but still taste delicious.

These bars look delicious, but I'm allergic to peanuts. Is there a way to make them without peanut butter?

These bars are really easy to make, but they're not very flavorful. I think I'll try adding some more spices next time.

I had some trouble getting the bars to set properly. I think I might have overcooked them.
