Belgian (Brussels) Waffles image

Love to cook from scratch, so when I purchased a Belgian waffle maker I searched for the perfect authentic recipe and combined a couple to come up with this. My family continuously asks for it....yummy good with strawberries and whip cream or just warm maple syrup.

The waffles were a bit dry. I think I should have added more butter to the batter.

I had some trouble getting the waffles to cook evenly. Some parts were overcooked while others were still undercooked.

I've tried many Brussels waffle recipes, but this one is by far the best. The waffles are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and they have the perfect amount of sweetness.
