1 onion, finely diced
1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
⅓ cup water
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
¾ cup ketchup
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
For serving: cooked hot dogs, hot dog buns, grated cheddar cheese, diced onion, pickle relish, mustard

Steps:

  • Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat until meat is no longer pink and onion is soft (about 7-10 minutes). 2 pounds ground beef
2 celery ribs, chopped
1 small green pepper, finely chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
DOGS:
16 hot dogs
16 hot dog buns, split
Optional: Warmed cheese dip and grilled onions

1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup ketchup (name brand preferably)
1 1/2 tablespoons A.1. Original Sauce
1/2 cup water
1 -1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (depends on how spicy you want it)
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 hamburger buns

¼ cup butter
2 sweet onions, chopped
1 (26 ounce) can tomato soup (such as Campbell's®)
1 (16 ounce) package hot dogs (such as Oscar Mayer®), sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 (15.25 ounce) can whole kernel corn, undrained
4 teaspoons dill pickle relish
1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
