Steps:
- Put all the ingredients, except the brandy, in a large saucepan. Cook over a low heat for 10 mins, stirring occasionally, until the sugar and suet have completely dissolved.
- Remove from the heat and leave to cool to room temperature before stirring in the brandy. The mincemeat may look loose at this stage, but it will continue to thicken. You can encase it in pastry as soon as it's cooled. Alternatively, spoon the warm mincemeat into a large sterilised jar or several smaller ones (see tip, below). Will keep in a cool, dry place for up to six months.

PEACH MELBA MOLDED SALAD
This is a very pretty layered salad. I have had this recipe for years and recently re-discovered it. It calls for regular Jello, but we now have sugar-free Jello, and should be fine to use instead.

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: Fresh fruits and vegetables will give your salad the best flavor and texture.
- Don't overcook the vegetables: Overcooked vegetables will be mushy and bland. Cook them just until they are tender-crisp.
- Use a variety of textures: A good salad will have a variety of textures, such as crunchy, soft, and chewy. This will make the salad more interesting to eat.
- Use a light dressing: A heavy dressing will overwhelm the other ingredients in the salad. Use a light dressing that will enhance the flavors of the salad without overpowering them.
- Serve the salad immediately: Salads are best served immediately after they are made. This will prevent the vegetables from wilting and the dressing from becoming watery.
Conclusion:
Mincemeat Molded Salad is a classic dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With its sweet and savory flavor, this salad is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you are looking for a delicious and refreshing salad, give Mincemeat Molded Salad a try.
