HAWAIIAN HAM STEAKS

Provided by TAMI HIATT

Categories     Steaks and Chops

Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 5

ham steaks
honey teriyaki marinade
caned crushed pineapples
salt
pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven on broiler setting.
  • 2. Place ham steak(s) on a baking sheet or broiler pan. Lightly salt and pepper then cover top of steak with Honey Teriyaki Marinade and crushed pineapples.
  • 3. Broil for 20 to 30 minutes!

Tips:

  • To ensure the ham steaks are evenly cooked, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. It should read 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius) for medium-rare, 155 degrees Fahrenheit (68 degrees Celsius) for medium, and 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) for well-done.
  • If you don't have fresh pineapple, you can use canned pineapple. Just be sure to drain it well before using.
  • You can also add other fruits to the glaze, such as mango, papaya, or orange.
