Tips:

  • Choose fresh, high-quality salmon: Look for salmon that is firm and has a bright orange color. Avoid salmon that is slimy or has a dull color.
  • Use a good quality olive oil: Extra virgin olive oil is the best choice for grilling salmon, as it has a high smoke point and will not burn easily.
  • Season the salmon well: Salmon is a mild fish, so it is important to season it well with salt, pepper, and other herbs and spices. Try a simple combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat: This will help to sear the salmon and create a nice crust.
  • Grill the salmon for 8-10 minutes per side: Or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving: This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the fish.

Conclusion:

Grilled salmon is a delicious and healthy meal that can be enjoyed all year round. By following these tips, you can cook salmon that is perfectly cooked, flavorful, and moist. Serve grilled salmon with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, rice, or quinoa. You can also top the salmon with a simple lemon butter sauce or a fresh herb salsa.
