Tips:
- Prep the Greens: Before cooking, thoroughly wash and remove any tough stems from the greens. To save time, use pre-washed and chopped greens if available.
- Choose Fresh Celery: For the best flavor, use fresh and crisp celery in the dressing. Look for celery with vibrant green stalks and no signs of wilting or bruising.
- Make Ahead: The creamy celery dressing can be made ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 3 days. This makes it a convenient option for busy weeknights.
- Adjust Seasoning: Taste the dressing and adjust the salt, pepper, and lemon juice to your preference. You can also add a touch of sweetness with a pinch of sugar or honey.
- Serve Warm or Cold: The greens can be served warm or cold, depending on your preference. If serving warm, reheat them gently over low heat until just warmed through.
- Garnish for Presentation: Before serving, sprinkle some chopped fresh herbs, such as parsley or chives, over the greens for a pop of color and extra flavor.
