Tips:

  • Use bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs. The bones and skin will add flavor to the dish, and the meat will stay moist and tender during the long cooking time.
  • Brown the chicken thighs before adding them to the slow cooker. This will help to develop their flavor and give them a nice color.
  • Use a variety of vegetables. This will add flavor, color, and nutrients to the dish. Some good options include onions, carrots, celery, bell peppers, and mushrooms.
  • Season the dish well. Paprika is a mild spice, so you can use a generous amount of it. Other good spices to use include garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook the dish on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. This will give the chicken time to cook through and the vegetables time to soften.
  • Serve the dish over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes. You can also garnish it with fresh parsley or cilantro.

Conclusion:

Crock-Pot Chicken Paprika is a delicious and easy-to-make low-carb meal. It's perfect for a busy weeknight or a lazy weekend. The chicken is tender and flavorful, the vegetables are cooked to perfection, and the sauce is rich and creamy. Plus, it's a one-pot meal, so cleanup is a breeze. Give this recipe a try, and you'll be sure to love it!
