CRAB CEVICHE
This has always been a crowd pleaser in my home. This is wonderful as an appetizer served on tostadas or even with tortilla chips. Make sure to refrigerate before you serve, it tastes best when very cold. I like to serve on tostadas with a thin layer of mayonnaise for a nice refreshing lunch.

CRAB SALAD FOR TOSTADAS
This salad uses imitation crabmeat. It's healthy and fulfilling, great for lunch. You can add more veggies or replace them to suit your taste. I've substituted the carrots and cucumber with cooked frozen carrots and peas and also some corn with very good results.

Tips for Making Crab Salad Tostadas:
- Fresh Ingredients: Use fresh, high-quality crab meat for the best flavor. Fresh lump crab is ideal, but you can also use claw or backfin meat.
- Simple Dressing: The dressing for the crab salad should be simple and light, allowing the flavor of the crab to shine through. A combination of mayonnaise, lime juice, and a touch of Dijon mustard works well.
- Fresh Herbs: Add fresh herbs like cilantro, parsley, or dill to the crab salad for an extra burst of flavor and color.
- Crispy Tostadas: Use high-quality tostada shells or make your own by baking corn tortillas in the oven until crispy.
- Garnish: Top the tostadas with a variety of garnishes such as avocado slices, shredded cabbage, salsa, or a sprinkle of cotija cheese. This adds flavor, texture, and visual appeal.
