There are tons of other options that can go with this vinaigrette so feel free to play! -Ryan Christie, Pacheco, California

Tips:

  • Choose ripe, sweet pears. This will ensure that your salad is flavorful and juicy.
  • Use dark chocolate. Dark chocolate has a higher cocoa content than milk chocolate, which gives it a more intense flavor.
  • Chop the cherries into small pieces. This will help them distribute evenly throughout the salad.
  • Use a light, fruity vinaigrette. A light vinaigrette will help to brighten the flavors of the salad without overpowering them.
  • Serve the salad immediately. This will prevent the pears from browning and the cherries from becoming soggy.

Conclusion:

This chocolate pear and cherry salad is a delicious and refreshing dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own personal preferences. Whether you like your chocolate dark or milk, your pears ripe or slightly tart, or your cherries sweet or sour, this salad is sure to please everyone at your table.
