We took all the best shortcuts to make this the easiest, most delicious recipe for cookie dough brownies you've ever had! While the whole recipe will take a couple hours to bake and be ready to serve, this cookie dough brownie recipe only takes about 15 minutes to prep. Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. A semisweet or bittersweet chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 60% is ideal.
  • Don't overmix the brownie batter. Overmixing can result in a tough, dry brownie.
  • Bake the brownies until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them. This will help prevent them from falling apart.
  • For the cookie dough, use a pre-made cookie dough or make your own. If you are using a pre-made cookie dough, let it soften slightly at room temperature before using.
  • Don't overmix the cookie dough either. Overmixing can result in a tough, dry cookie dough.
  • When adding the cookie dough to the brownie batter, be sure to fold it in gently. This will help prevent the cookie dough from breaking up.
  • Bake the brownies according to the recipe instructions. The baking time may vary depending on the size of your baking pan and the type of oven you are using.

Conclusion:

These chocolate brownies with cookie dough are a delicious and decadent treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and can be customized to your own liking.
