This stuff disappears at my house in a single afternoon!! It is so simple, but so yummy!! I've never tried it with any other pie filling flavor, but it would probably be just as good with blueberry, etc.

Tips:

  • Soften the butter: This will make it easier to cream together with the sugar and eggs, resulting in a lighter, fluffier cake.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can make the cake tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use fresh cherries: Fresh cherries will give the cake the best flavor. If you're using frozen cherries, thaw them completely before using.
  • Don't skimp on the streusel topping: The streusel topping is what makes this cake so special. Make sure to use plenty of butter, flour, and sugar.
  • Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This will ensure that the cake is cooked through.

Conclusion:

Cherry Crunch Cake is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion.
