Tips:

  • Select the right potatoes: For this recipe, it's best to use small, firm potatoes that hold their shape well during cooking, such as Yukon Gold or red potatoes.
  • Use fresh herbs: Fresh herbs like thyme, rosemary, and parsley add a burst of flavor to the dish. If you don't have fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs, but reduce the amount you use by half.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When roasting the potatoes, make sure to spread them out in a single layer on the baking sheet. Overcrowding the pan will prevent the potatoes from roasting evenly.
  • Roast until golden brown: The potatoes are done roasting when they are tender on the inside and golden brown on the outside. This usually takes about 25-30 minutes, but the cooking time may vary depending on the size of the potatoes.
  • Serve immediately: Cheesy Harvest Potatoes are best served immediately, while they are still warm and crispy. They can be served as a side dish or as a main course.

Conclusion:

Cheesy Harvest Potatoes are a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that is perfect for any occasion. They are roasted until golden brown and then topped with a creamy cheese sauce and fresh herbs. These potatoes are sure to be a hit with your family and friends!
