6 -8 potatoes, sliced into wedges
1 -2 tablespoon olive oil
salt
pepper, and
garlic powder, to taste
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup hot pepper sauce
bleu cheese salad dressing (optional)

Tips:

  • Choose the right potatoes: Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes are great for making potato wedges because they're starchy and hold their shape well.
  • Cut the potatoes evenly: This will help them cook evenly. Aim for wedges that are about 1-inch thick.
  • Season the potatoes well: Don't be shy with the seasonings! Paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper are all great choices.
  • Use a high heat oven: This will help the potatoes get crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
  • Don't overcrowd the baking sheet: Give the potato wedges plenty of space so that they can cook evenly.
  • Flip the potato wedges halfway through cooking: This will help them brown evenly.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce: Ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, or ketchup are all great options.

Conclusion:

These buffalo potato wedges are the perfect party food or game day snack. They're crispy, flavorful, and easy to make. So next time you're looking for a delicious and satisfying snack, give these buffalo potato wedges a try. You won't be disappointed!
