SMOKED SALMON AND BRIE QUICHE

Smoked Salmon and Brie Quiche image

I found this in the latest (winter 2006) "Food & Drink" magazine put out by the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario). So many of their recipes are simple and so very tasty...just as this one is. I have used milk in the place of cream and it has worked out just fine. Makes a great meal with a nice green salad

Tips for Making Brie Smoked Salmon Stackers:

- Use good quality brie cheese for the best flavor. A ripe brie will have a creamy, slightly runny texture. - If you can't find smoked salmon slices, you can use regular salmon slices and smoke them yourself. Just be sure to cook the salmon to an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). - To make the stackers ahead of time, assemble them and then wrap them tightly in plastic wrap. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. - When you're ready to serve, bring the stackers to room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld together. - Garnish the stackers with fresh herbs, such as dill or chives, for a pop of color and flavor.

Conclusion:

Brie smoked salmon stackers are a quick and easy appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. They're made with just a few simple ingredients and can be assembled in just a few minutes. The combination of creamy brie, smoky salmon, and crispy crackers is sure to be a hit with your guests. So next time you're looking for a delicious and easy appetizer, give these brie smoked salmon stackers a try.
