1 cup butter, softened
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, beat the butter, oil and sugars. Beat in eggs until well blended. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; gradually add to creamed mixture., Drop by small teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake until lightly browned, 8-10 minutes. 4 large eggs, beaten
3 cups white sugar
2 cups vegetable oil (I use canola oil)
2 cups buttermilk
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons baking powder
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
6 cups all-purpose flour
cinnamon sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • In a very large mixing bowl, cream together; eggs, sugar, and oil.
  • Add buttermilk, baking soda, salt, baking powder, and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually beat in flour, and beat until mixture is smooth.
