Steps:
- 1. Mix 6 oz of banana, vanilla, or plain yogurt and 2 tablespoons of un-salted peanut butter in a medium-sized bowl.
- 2. Optional: You can add any food coloring (I used red) and mix well until you have the color that you desire.
- 3. Using a butter knife, spread your doggie frosting on your dog treats and let your furry friend enjoy!
Tips:
- Use plain, unsweetened yogurt for the frosting. Greek yogurt or flavored yogurt may not have the right consistency or taste for your dog.
- Start with a small amount of frosting and add more as needed. A little bit of frosting goes a long way.
- If the frosting is too thick, you can thin it out with a little bit of water or milk.
- If the frosting is too thin, you can thicken it up by adding more yogurt or by chilling it in the refrigerator for a while.
- You can add different flavors to the frosting by using different types of yogurt or by adding in fruits, vegetables, or other dog-safe ingredients.
- Be sure to supervise your dog while they are eating treats with frosting. Some dogs may be tempted to eat the frosting too quickly, which could cause an upset stomach.
Conclusion:
Yogurt frosting is a delicious and easy way to make your dog's treats even more special. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a frosting that is safe for your dog to eat and that they will love. So next time you're looking for a way to show your furry friend how much you care, try making them some yogurt-frosted treats. They're sure to be a hit!
