RED LOBSTER® CHEDDAR BISCUITS

Red Lobster® Cheddar Biscuits image

I made these with baked potato soup and loved it. Great addition! I gave them to a friend and he said they tasted just like the ones at Red Lobster®. The recipe will yield more if made into smaller biscuits. They are best served fresh out of the oven.

Time 18m

Yield 15 biscuits, 8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Mix bisquick, milk and cheese until a soft dough forms.
  • Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 6-8 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Mix butter or margarine and garlic powder.
  • Brush mixture over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.

Tips:

  • Use cold butter: This will help to create a flakier biscuit. If your butter is too warm, it will melt into the flour and make the biscuits tough.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the biscuits tough. Mix it just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough: Chilling the dough will help to develop the flavor and make the biscuits easier to handle.
  • Bake the biscuits at a high temperature: This will help to create a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior.
  • Serve the biscuits warm: Cheddar biscuits are best served warm out of the oven. You can also reheat them in the microwave or oven.

Conclusion:

Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits are a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you're serving them at a party, potluck, or family dinner, these biscuits are sure to be a hit. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy recipe, give these Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits a try.
