HERSHEY'S HOT COCOA

We have been making this hot chocolate since we were kids. No chocolate in a bag can compare. We make this for special.

Provided by Ann Arber

Categories     Beverages

Time 13m

Yield 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup water
4 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Stir cocoa powder and sugar in a pot.
  • Add water and stir.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil two minutes.
  • Add milk (I use 1 can canned milk and equal water, plus 1 cup of whole milk). Heat until hot.
  • Add vanilla and serve.

Tips:

  • Use unsweetened almond milk or skim milk: These low-calorie milk alternatives will help keep your hot cocoa light and fluffy. Avoid using whole milk or 2% milk, as they will add unnecessary calories and fat.
  • Choose a low-calorie sweetener: If you like your hot cocoa sweet, opt for a low-calorie sweetener like stevia or monk fruit. Avoid using sugar or honey, as they are high in calories and can quickly add up.
  • Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg: These spices will add a delicious warm and cozy flavor to your hot cocoa without adding any calories.
  • Top with a dollop of whipped cream or marshmallows: These toppings will add a touch of indulgence to your hot cocoa without breaking the calorie bank.

Conclusion:

This delicious and healthy Weight Watchers 0 Point Hot Cocoa is the perfect way to warm up on a cold day without sacrificing your weight loss goals. With its rich chocolatey flavor and creamy texture, it's sure to satisfy your sweet tooth without derailing your diet. So next time you're craving something warm and comforting, reach for a mug of this Weight Watchers 0 Point Hot Cocoa and enjoy!
