Tips:

  • Use ripe tomatoes. This will give the ketchup a sweeter, more flavorful taste.
  • Roast the tomatoes before making the ketchup. This will caramelize the sugars in the tomatoes and give the ketchup a deeper flavor.
  • Use a variety of spices. This will give the ketchup a more complex flavor. Some good spices to use include garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  • Simmer the ketchup for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together and the ketchup to thicken.
  • Taste the ketchup as you go and adjust the seasonings as needed. You may need to add more salt or sugar, or more spices.
  • Let the ketchup cool completely before storing it. This will help it to thicken further.

Conclusion:

This Whole30 ketchup is a delicious and healthy alternative to store-bought ketchup. It is made with all-natural ingredients and is free of added sugar, preservatives, and artificial flavors. This ketchup is also paleo and vegan-friendly. So, next time you are looking for a ketchup that is both healthy and flavorful, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
