Time 20m

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 pkg white bark (vanilla candy coating)
3 c cheerios
3 c golden grahams
3 c pretzel sticks
1 pkg miniature marshmallows
1 medium bag of m&m's® (your choice)
1 jar(s) 1 jar dry roasted peanuts

Steps:

  • 1. Melt white bark according to package directions. Meanwhile, mix all dry ingredients together. Pour melted bark over dry ingredients and mix well. If the mixture is too wet, add more cereal or pretzels. Spread onto waxed paper and let cool. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.

Tips:

  • Choose fresh and ripe fruits: The quality of your fruit will greatly impact the flavor of your candy. Choose fruits that are at their peak ripeness and avoid any that are bruised or damaged.
  • Use a heavy-bottomed pot: A heavy-bottomed pot will help to evenly distribute the heat and prevent the candy from scorching.
  • Cook the candy to the right temperature: The temperature of the candy is critical to its success. Use a candy thermometer to ensure that you are cooking it to the correct stage.
  • Stir the candy constantly: Stirring the candy constantly will help to prevent it from sticking to the pot and will also help to evenly distribute the heat.
  • Let the candy cool completely: Once the candy is cooked, let it cool completely before cutting or serving. This will help to prevent it from becoming sticky or runny.

Conclusion:

White trash candy is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
