1-1/2 teaspoons butter, softened
3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
Pinch salt
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Line an 8-in. square pan with foil and grease the foil with butter; set aside. , In a heavy saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, milk and salt. Cook and stir over low heat until chips are melted. Remove from the heat; stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour into prepared pan. Chill for 2 hours or until firm. , Using foil, lift fudge out of pan. 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
2 large eggs
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup macadamia nuts, toasted lightly and chopped coarse
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • Bake brownies in middle of oven 30 to 35 minutes, or until a tester comes out clean. Cool brownies completely in pan on a rack before cutting into 16 squares. Brownies keep, layered between sheets of wax paper in an airtight container at cool room temperature, 5 days.
