Tips:

  • Choose ripe watermelon: The riper the watermelon, the sweeter the cookies will be. Look for a watermelon that is heavy for its size and has a deep red color.
  • Use a food processor: A food processor will make quick work of pureeing the watermelon and other ingredients. If you don't have a food processor, you can use a blender or a grater.
  • Chill the dough: Chilling the dough before baking will help the cookies hold their shape. If you're short on time, you can skip this step, but the cookies will be more likely to spread.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set: The cookies should be slightly soft in the center when you take them out of the oven. If you overbake them, they will be dry and crumbly.

Conclusion:

Watermelon cookies are a delicious and refreshing treat that are perfect for summer. They are easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. If you are looking for a unique and flavorful cookie recipe, give watermelon cookies a try.
