CHOCOLATE WALNUT KAHLUA BALLS (NO BAKE)
I have made these using dark rum, Grand Marnier and Bailey's Irish Cream, you can use any three with success.. I usually make these treats around the holiday season, but of coarse you can make them at any time. I make one batch using semisweet chocolate and one with white chocolate, these really should chill overnight before serving them, you'll be lucky if they make until the next day LOL! Yield is only estimated depending on the size of the balls --- you will LOVE these! :)

OLD-FASHIONED MAPLE WALNUT BUTTER BALLS
These little maple balls are so buttery, they just melt in your mouth! Better make a double recipe of the delicious cookies, cause your going to need lots! If you don't have any maple extract on hand, just use 2 tsp vanilla instead, it just won't have the maple flavouring, but they are still great.

GERMAN BLACK WALNUT BALLS
This is an old recipe that my Gramps used to make (Great Grandpa). The cookies are not really sweet, but the flavor is wonderful all the same. It's definitely more of an adult cookie. I am guessing on the servings, so please let me know how many cookies it makes and I will post the correction. (I can't make them anymore with regular wheat flour since I have to make everything gluten free) UPDATE: I asked my mom if she ever substituted anything for the brandy and she said she rarely included it and just increased the vanilla to a tsp.

Tips:
- Use fresh walnuts. Fresh walnuts have a more intense flavor and will produce a better-tasting walnut ball.
- Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing the dough will make the walnut balls tough.
- Chill the dough before baking. Chilling the dough will help the walnut balls hold their shape better in the oven.
- Bake the walnut balls until they are golden brown. Golden brown walnut balls will have a crispy exterior and a soft and chewy interior.
- Serve the walnut balls warm. Walnut balls are best served warm, when they are fresh out of the oven.
Conclusion:
Walnut balls are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, and holiday gatherings. With their crispy exterior and soft and chewy interior, walnut balls are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
