Tips:

  • Choose high-quality ingredients: Fresh, flavorful ingredients will make all the difference in your Victorian diable sandwich. Look for ripe tomatoes, crispy lettuce, and thinly sliced ham and turkey.
  • Make your own mayonnaise: Homemade mayonnaise is easy to make and tastes so much better than store-bought. Plus, you can control the ingredients and make it to your desired consistency.
  • Toast the bread: Toasting the bread will help it hold up better to the sandwich fillings and prevent it from getting soggy. You can toast the bread in a toaster, oven, or on a grill.
  • Layer the ingredients carefully: When assembling your sandwich, layer the ingredients carefully so that they are evenly distributed. This will help ensure that each bite is packed with flavor.
