  • Use a variety of tortillas. This recipe calls for corn tortillas, but you can also use flour tortillas or a mix of both. If you're using flour tortillas, you may need to cook them for a few minutes longer in the oven.
  • Don't overfill the tortillas. When you're filling the tortillas, be careful not to overfill them. Otherwise, they'll be difficult to roll up and they may fall apart.
  • Use a variety of toppings. The toppings for this casserole are endless. You can use anything from shredded chicken or beef to black beans or corn. Get creative and use whatever you have on hand.
  • Bake the casserole until it's golden brown. The casserole is done baking when it's golden brown and bubbly. This usually takes about 20 minutes.
  • Let the casserole cool before serving. Once the casserole is done baking, let it cool for a few minutes before serving. This will help it to set and make it easier to slice.
