Tips:
- Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best results.
- Make sure your yeast is active before using it. To do this, proof the yeast in a small bowl of warm water with a pinch of sugar for 5-10 minutes. If the yeast bubbles and foams, it is active and can be used.
- Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic. This will help to develop the gluten in the dough and make the buns light and fluffy.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until it has doubled in size. This will take about 1-2 hours.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into buns. Place the buns on a greased baking sheet and let them rise again for 30-45 minutes.
- Bake the buns in a preheated oven until they are golden brown. This will take about 20-25 minutes.
