  • Mise en Place: Before starting, measure and prepare all ingredients. This ensures smooth and efficient cooking.
  • Fresh Ingredients: Use fresh vegetables and herbs for the best flavor and texture. If possible, buy organic ingredients.
  • Quality Spices: Use high-quality spices for maximum flavor. Whole spices can be toasted briefly in a pan before grinding for a more intense aroma.
  • Brown the Tuna: Browning the tuna adds depth of flavor and helps it retain its moisture during cooking.
  • Use a Variety of Vegetables: The more colorful and varied the vegetables, the more nutritious and visually appealing the curry will be.
  • Coconut Milk: Use full-fat coconut milk for a rich and creamy curry. Coconut milk can be substituted with yogurt or cream for a lighter version.
  • Simmer Gently: Simmer the curry over low heat to allow the flavors to meld and develop. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Adjust Seasoning: Taste the curry and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more spices, salt, or lime juice to your preference.
  • Serve with Accompaniments: Serve the curry with rice, quinoa, or roti. Accompaniments like chutneys, pickles, and papadums add extra flavor and texture.
