Tips:

  • Use fresh fish: The fresher the fish, the better the soup will taste. If you can, buy fish that was caught the same day.
  • Choose firm-fleshed fish: Firm-fleshed fish, such as cod, haddock, or halibut, will hold up well in the soup and won't fall apart.
  • Use a variety of vegetables: The more vegetables you use, the more flavorful the soup will be. Some good choices include potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, and tomatoes.
  • Don't overcook the fish: Fish cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked fish will be tough and dry.
  • Season the soup to taste: Add salt, pepper, and other seasonings to taste. You can also add a squeeze of lemon juice or a dollop of yogurt for extra flavor.

Conclusion:

Tunisian aromatic fish soup with potatoes is a delicious and easy-to-make soup that is perfect for a quick and healthy meal. The soup is packed with flavor, thanks to the use of fresh fish, vegetables, and herbs. It is also a good source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids.
