Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before starting, measure and prepare all ingredients. This will ensure smooth and efficient baking.
  • Quality Ingredients: Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. Look for chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
  • Properly Melted Chocolate: To avoid seizing, melt chocolate slowly over a double boiler or in the microwave in short bursts, stirring frequently.
  • Don't Overmix: Overmixing the batter can result in a tough texture. Mix only until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Baking Temperature: Bake the bars at the specified temperature to ensure they set properly without overcooking.
  • Chilling Time: Allow the bars to chill completely before slicing. This helps them hold their shape and makes them easier to cut.
