Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe tomatillos. This will give your salsa a bright, tart flavor.
  • Roast the tomatillos before blending them. This will help to mellow their flavor and give the salsa a smoky depth of flavor.
  • Use a variety of chiles. This will give your salsa a complex flavor profile. Use a combination of mild, medium, and hot chiles, depending on your desired heat level.
  • Don't blend the salsa too much. You want it to have a bit of texture. A few chunks of tomatillos, onions, and cilantro will add interest and flavor.
  • Season the salsa to taste. You may want to add more salt, lime juice, or cilantro, depending on your preferences.
  • Let the salsa rest for at least 30 minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.

Conclusion:

Tostadas with Salsa Verde are a delicious and easy-to-make Mexican dish. The combination of crispy tostadas, creamy refried beans, tangy salsa verde, and fresh toppings is sure to please everyone at your table. Serve them as an appetizer, main course, or side dish.
