Pinch of cayenne pepper
3/4 pound ground pork
Kosher salt
1 15-ounce can crushed tomatoes
2 4.25-ounce cans chopped green chiles

TIC TAC TOE PIE

Tic Tac Toe Pie image

This is a easy cool recipe and taste as good as it looks. Just remember only use 5 cups of milk this will make the pudding thicker for the pie. If you do not want chocolate then use your own flavor but stick with the 5 cups of milk to keep it thick

Provided by Jamie Franks

Categories     Puddings

Time 28m

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 5.8 oz. instant chocolate pudding
1 tub of thawed coolwhip
1 squeeze bottle of chocolate sryup
1 stick butter
2 Tbsp sugar
3/4 c flour
1/2 c instant oatmeal (dry)
1/2 c chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter and sugar in pan take off heat then add flour and oats and nuts. stir till combined
  • 2. Use a deep dish pie pan and pour this into the pan and press down with a fork or your hands to make the crust and make sure it goes half way up the sides.
  • 3. Heat oven to 400* put shell in for 8 minutes and take out and let cool completely.
  • 4. Once cooled make your pudding but instead of using 6 cups of milk only use 5 and whisk together till combined. Put this into cooled shell and top with the thawed Cool Whip
  • 5. Set in frig to get firm for about 1-2hours then pull out and create your tic tac toe design with syrup. Put back in frig till ready to serve

Tips:

  • To make a perfect pie crust, use cold butter and ice water. This will help to keep the crust flaky.
  • Be sure to preheat your oven before baking the pie. This will help to ensure that the crust cooks evenly.
  • If you don't have a pastry brush, you can use a spoon to brush the egg wash onto the crust.
  • To make the tic-tac-toe board, use a sharp knife to score the top of the pie crust.
  • Be careful not to overfill the pie. This can cause the filling to spill over and make a mess.
  • Let the pie cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. This will help to set the filling.

Conclusion:

Tic-tac-toe pie is a delicious and fun dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its flaky crust, sweet filling, and classic game board design, this pie is sure to be a hit with everyone. So next time you're looking for a fun and easy dessert to make, give tic-tac-toe pie a try!
