TERIYAKI STEAK

Teriyaki Steak image

Skirt steak comes from the short plate. It comes in a long, thin strip or 'skirt'. Sometimes it's hard to find, so if you don't see it out with the other meats, ask your butcher.

Tips:

  • Tenderize the steak: Use a meat mallet or a fork to tenderize the steak before cooking. This will help break down the muscle fibers and make the steak more tender.
  • Marinate the steak: Marinating the steak in a mixture of soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger will help add flavor and moisture to the steak.
  • Cook the steak over high heat: Cooking the steak over high heat will help sear the outside of the steak and lock in the juices.
  • Let the steak rest before slicing: Letting the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.
  • Serve the steak with your favorite sides: Teriyaki filet mignon steak strips can be served with a variety of sides, such as steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or a salad.

Conclusion:

Teriyaki filet mignon steak strips are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a special occasion or a weeknight meal. The steak is tender and flavorful, and the teriyaki sauce is rich and savory. This dish is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
