Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken thighs: Look for thighs that are evenly sized and have a good amount of meat on them. Bone-in, skin-on thighs are best for this recipe, as the bones and skin help to keep the chicken moist and flavorful.
  • Marinate the chicken: The marinade in this recipe helps to infuse the chicken with flavor and keep it moist. Be sure to marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  • Cook the chicken over medium heat: This will help to prevent the chicken from drying out. Cook the chicken until it is cooked through, but not overcooked. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Baste the chicken with the glaze: Basting the chicken with the glaze helps to keep it moist and flavorful. Baste the chicken every few minutes during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
  • Let the chicken rest before serving: This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

This tequila glazed grilled chicken thighs recipe is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a summer cookout or party. The chicken is marinated in a flavorful tequila-lime marinade, then grilled to perfection and glazed with a sweet and tangy tequila glaze. The chicken is moist, flavorful, and has a slightly smoky flavor from the grill. Serve the chicken with your favorite sides, such as rice, beans, or salad.
