3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2-2/3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
4 large eggs, room temperature
2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
2/3 cup canola oil
2/3 cup 2% milk
1-1/2 cups raisins
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk the first 8 ingredients. In another bowl, whisk eggs, sweet potatoes, oil and milk until blended. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. 1/3 cup warm water (110° to 115°)
1 cup warm 2% milk (110° to 115°)
1 cup sugar, divided
2 large eggs, room temperature
6 tablespoons butter, softened
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
5-1/2 to 6 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

  • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add milk, 1/2 cup sugar, eggs, butter, salt and 3 cups flour; beat on medium speed until smooth. 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup white sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
⅓ cup vegetable oil

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. In a small bowl, mix together 1/3 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon; set aside.
