SWEET AND SPICY BAKED CHICKEN
This sweet and spicy pulled baked chicken (that's a mouthful I know but this chicken is just that; a delicious mouthful) is so easy, juicy, light and tasty! My friend Jennifer shared the recipe with me. Her friend Melinda L. shared it with her. I love when a recipe has some history behind it. You know it's amazing if a recipe has been "around the block." That means it's delicious enough to share and now I'm sharing it with you.

SWEET 'N' SPICY CHICKEN
My husband and three children love this tender, sweet and spicy chicken. Peach preserves add just a touch of sweetness, while taco seasoning and salsa give this dish some kick. This entree can be made even zippier yet by adding more taco seasoning and using spicier salsa. -Sheri White, Higley, Arizona

Tips:
- Choose the right chicken: For this recipe, bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts are ideal. The skin helps to keep the chicken moist and flavorful during baking, while the bone adds extra flavor.
- Use a good quality honey: The honey in this recipe is not just a sweetener, it also adds a delicious depth of flavor. Look for a raw, unfiltered honey for the best results.
- Don't skimp on the spices: The blend of spices in this recipe is what gives the chicken its sweet and spicy flavor. Don't be afraid to use a generous amount, as the chicken can handle it.
- Bake the chicken until it is cooked through: The best way to tell if the chicken is cooked through is to use a meat thermometer. Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the chicken breast, and it should read 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let the chicken rest before serving: Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and flavorful.
Conclusion:
This Sweet 'N' Spicy Baked Chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The combination of sweet and spicy flavors is sure to please everyone, and the chicken is cooked to perfection. Serve it with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad, and you have a complete meal that everyone will love.
