this is an amazing sweet yet savory sidedish. I only made half a recipe, but it made a lot!! also, you may need to add some extra water because the dried fruit soaks up some water. also, start off with only one teaspoon of cinnamon before adding the other. you may find that one is enough for your taste.

Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use high-quality couscous. Look for couscous that is made from durum wheat and has a slightly nutty flavor.
  • Be sure to toast the couscous before cooking it. This will help to bring out the couscous's flavor and give it a slightly crunchy texture.
  • Use a flavorful broth to cook the couscous. A good option is to use a vegetable broth or a chicken broth. You can also add some spices to the broth, such as cumin, coriander, or paprika.
  • Be careful not to overcook the couscous. Couscous should be cooked until it is tender but still has a slight bite to it.
  • Add your favorite vegetables and nuts to the couscous. Some good options include carrots, celery, onions, raisins, and almonds.
