SUGAR FREE CAPPUCHINO

SUGAR FREE CAPPUCHINO image

My habit of stopping off at the gas station for my morning cappuchino or to Caribu Coffee when I had money for their cappuchino, come to an abrupt halt when I started my no sugar lifestyle. I felt deprived. One day, I found a way to get around it. I took a cup of coffee in my thermal mug and added 1 NO SUGAR ADDED SWISS MISS...

Categories     Hot Drinks

Number Of Ingredients 4

8-12 oz hot coffee regular or decaf
1-11/2 packet no sugar added swiss miss
1 tsp splenda
optional: heavy whipping cream whipped with 1 teaspoon of splenda added before whipping

Steps:

  • 1. In 12 oz. mug or thermal mug, pour coffee. Add 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 packet of swiss miss. Stir real good until swiss miss is dissolved.
  • 2. OPTION: If you want, whip some heavy whipping cream with a teaspoon or 2 of splenda added to it before whipping. Keep it in a container in the fridge and add to your SF cappachino.

Tips:

  • For a frothy cappuccino without a milk frother, whisk the milk vigorously in a heatproof bowl until it doubles in volume and becomes frothy.
  • If you don't have vanilla extract or syrup, add a teaspoon of vanilla powder or a drop of vanilla stevia for a hint of vanilla flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of instant coffee or espresso powder to suit your taste preference. For a stronger coffee flavor, add more; for a milder flavor, add less.
  • If you like your cappuccino sweeter, add more stevia or other sugar-free sweetener to taste.
  • For a decadent treat, top your cappuccino with a sprinkle of unsweetened cocoa powder or cinnamon.

Conclusion:

This sugar-free cappuccino recipe is a delicious and healthy way to start your day or enjoy a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. With its rich coffee flavor, creamy texture, and subtle vanilla aroma, this cappuccino is sure to satisfy your cravings without compromising your health.
