1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 cup fresh or frozen sliced strawberries
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup crushed ice

  • In blender, place rum, lime juice, sliced strawberries, sugar and just enough crushed ice to cover. Cover blender; blend until pureed.

- water
- vegetable oil
- whole eggs
1 box(es) 4oz. strawberry flavored gelatin
1 tablespoon(s) grated lime peel
1-2 teaspoon(s) rum extract
1 can(s) vanilla frosting
2 teaspoon(s) grated lime peel
8 - fresh whole strawberries

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350. Grease bottom of 13x9 pan and lightly flour. In bowl, beat cake ingredients with mixer on low speed 30 sec. then on med. speed 2 min. scraping bowl. Pour in pan. Bake 35-40 min. Cool Completely, about 1 hour. Stir together lime frosting ingredients. Spread frosting evenly over cake. Store loosely covered at room temp. Just before serving, Cut each whole strawberry in half, garnish cake with strawberry halves. Store loosely covered in fridge.

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

1 box white cake mix
1 box (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding
1 can(s) frozen strawberry daiquiri mix (thawed)
4 eggs
1 stick butter (softened)
1/4 c strawberry puree (made from frozen sliced strawberries in sugar, pureed in blender)
GLAZE
1 1/2-2 c powdered sugar (sifted)
1 Tbsp butter (melted)
2 Tbsp (or more depending on desired thickness) strawberry puree

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven tp 350°. Grease & flour a bundt type cake pan. (I use Bakers Joy.)
  • 2. Cream butter & add eggs one at a time. Add daiquiri mix & strawberry puree (see note). Mix well.
  • 3. Add cake, pudding mixes & mix well.
  • 4. Pour into prepared pan & bake for 45 - 50 min or until done.
  • 5. Let cool about 15 minutes before turning out onto plate. Let cool about another 10 minutes before glaze is added.
  • 6. Glaze: Stir powdered sugar, melted butter & strawberry puree together (1 Tbsp @ a time) until desired thickness. Drizzle over still warm cake.
  • 7. *Note* Completely thaw frozen sliced strawberries & mix in blender until pureed.

3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
1/3 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
1 1/3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
1 (14 ounce) can condensed milk
1 (10 ounce) can frozen strawberry daiquiri concentrate (thawed)
1 (8 ounce) container non-dairy whipped topping (thawed)
1/2 pint strawberry

Steps:

  • Bake cake mix according to the directions on the box.
  • After it comes out of the oven, while still warm, make holes in the cake and pour condensed milk over cake.

  • It will take a while for the liquid to soak into cake.

Water, vegetable oil and egg whites called for on cake mix box
2 tablespoons grated fresh lime peel
1 quart (4 cups) fresh strawberries
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
1 1/3 cups whipping cream

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Generously spray two 8- or 9-inch round cake pans with baking spray with flour.
  • Make cake batter as directed on box--except stir lime peel into batter. Pour batter into pans. Bake and cool as directed on box for 8- or 9-inch rounds.
  • Reserve 3 whole strawberries for garnish. Cut remaining strawberries into thin slices. Finely chop enough of the sliced strawberries to equal 1/2 cup.
  • In medium bowl, beat butter with electric mixer on low speed about 30 seconds to soften, then beat on high speed until fluffy. 1 carton (12 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, eggs and oil; beat on low speed for 30 seconds.
